Hey! Ok, so if you’ve made it this deep into my site, it’s likely you want to know a little bit more about me….yay!! As I mentioned before, I am a wife and a stay at home mom with 3 kiddos. We live in Vermont (yes this is an actual state) and I love to hike! I love to paddle board, we love to go camping and if it’s raining outside, my kiddos and I are definitely crawling in for a movie day!

The relationship I have had with my body over the years is one that I think many can relate to, because I have been told many times! I grew up with an underlying pressure that thinking ‘skinny’ was worthy. I spent many years of my life going back and forth between diets, binging and purging episodes, using alcohol to boost my confidence. It did massive damage to my self worth over the years. While I had been successful with other weight loss programs in the past, nothing ever seemed to ‘stick’.

In 2015 I gave birth to my first babe. I had gained 50+ pounds during that first pregnancy, mostly for lack of information on how to stay healthy and what was appropriate…and also because I loved that I could 'eat for two!’ anyone else?! During my postpartum period, I saw a friend from church sharing about her weight loss journey on Facebook, so I reached out. She was partnering with a wellness company, so I decided, “Yep! I’m going to do that too!” and I am so happy that I did.

I had the support of a friend, I had the accountability of then also being a partner with the company, and soon the confidence that I realized I was always longing for. I continued my workouts and nutrition tools throughout my next 2 pregnancies and what a difference!

I have discovered how much I love to be outside, how much I love to get my kiddos outside and how much adventure is possible when your body, mind and spirit are trained for the every day!
